Wow, that is like a load off my shoulders. Changing character voices is a tricky thing, so I'm glad you liked her. By the way, if you wanted to see what the new SaraH (with an H :P) looks like, well, there she is. Hi Crimson!
Glad it's back, but after eleventy-thousand weeks I was hoping the writing would be tighter, like back in some of those killer episodes you had. I'll keep listening as long as you keep making them, but I goota give this one a "meh". (Agree: new Sarah = great.)
Anything in particular that didn't flow? I ask for a few reasons.
1) I had to cut two characters out of speaking parts because I just couldn't get them recorded by the deadline. So I'm wondering if they didn't cut as smooth as I'd have liked.
2) I am afraid that we're going to suffer from Star Wars Episode 1 syndrome here. Like, nothing is going to live up to the ending you guys had like 5 months to imagine is what's sort of freaky.
3) Was it the story, or the writing? The writing can be tightened up, the hooks are much harder to tweak, but if they're unsatisfying, ya know, kinda got to.
Anyway, glad you listened, that's mostly what I care about, I'm easy.
I really enjoyed it. Regardless of what anyone says I thought the writing was tight and the story flowed well, especially considering that you had to cut out two speaking parts. Keep it up.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love it. Glad to have it back... now there is an off season... rawr.
